Rooh’s Philosophy of Healing

At Rooh, healing is not a passive process,

It is a return.

To truth.

To softness.

To fire.

We don’t just treat symptoms.

We tend to soul.

We don’t just restore balance.

We reclaim what was stolen.

Welcome to Rooh Sanctuary.

Rooh Sanctuary is grounded in a framework authored by Sabrina Khawaja that weaves ancestral wisdom with liberation theory to create culturally rooted, spirtually grounded and justice-oriented healing spaces.

This framework was authored as part of Rooh Sanctuary’s founding documents in (2025) and continues to guide the sanctuary’s vision, ethics, and offerings.

Meet Our Team

Our work is rooted in four sacred pillars:

Our work is rooted in four sacred pillars:

Spirit

Because healing is sacred.

We honor prayer, rest, ritual, and the Divine in every form,

from ancient texts to whispered intentions.

Here, faith is not policed. It’s protected.

Justice

Because wellness cannot be separated from the world.

We dismantle the systems that made us unwell - colonialism, capitalism, systemic racism - and build a space where BIPOC women can rise in wholeness, not silence.

Ancestry

Because we carry the wisdom of those who came before.

We honor ancestral grief, beauty, strength, and memory. Our practices are rooted in lineage, not trends.

We heal through remembrance.

Liberation

Because freedom is the final form of healing.

Not just freedom from pain, but freedom to be. To take up space.

To speak without shrinking. To live soft, loud, sacred, and sovereign.

Rooh Sanctuary is Coming to Los Angeles

We’re in the final stages of creating a healing-centered space for BIPOC women and girls, where softness is resistance, and healing is a return to self.

Our physical space is almost ready. Our vision is alive. And now, we’re gathering the right people to be part of the soul of Rooh.
